The Wadi Rum definitely is worth a hike. The valley reminds of the rock-giants of Monument-Valley in Arizona. If you are lucky, you will be invited by the beduins for tea to their tent-site.

The view of the `Treasury` is overwhelming when you finally reach it at the end of the canyon to the valley. Indiana Jones was there looking for the holy grail in "The last crusade". Petra, the city of the Nabataeens is totally build out of stone and is partially still in very good shape. |
